Nestled within the prestigious Hotel Baobab Suites in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Char Fuego y Brasas is a fine dining restaurant dedicated to premium meats, where ancestral fire meets modern culinary precision.

Our Chef: Babacar Fall
Hailing from Dakar, Senegal, Babacar Fall is a true fire master with an exceptional journey. In 2024, he became the first Senegalese chef to receive a Repsol Sun. In 2025, he placed Char on the international stage by earning a spot on the 101 World’s Best Steak Restaurants list, ranking at #61, making Char the first steakhouse in the Canary Islands to achieve such global recognition.
Our Product: In Collaboration with Luismi Garayar
For over nine years, we have worked closely with Luismi Garayar, one of Spain’s most respected butchers. We select only the finest cuts, with ageing processes ranging from 35 to over 60 days, always respecting the integrity and character of each piece.

Phenomenal... Having eaten in some great restaurants both in the UK and around the world, my wife and I seriously debated whether this was the best food we had ever eaten.
Omg this was a revisit for us from 2022 and it did not disappoint in fact we had 2 evenings with Char this time.
Was really an exceptional meal, and a higher standard then anything else we had on holiday.
