Set in a restored house with a terrace for alfresco dining under a shady wooden roof, run by a husband and wife team, slightly off the beaten track and food to die for; now that we have got the cliches out of the way (all true!), let's get down to the superlatives!
Seriously though, here are a couple of examples from their set menu: Tuna tartare marinated in mustard seeds, soy and cilantro, Hot Carpaccio of beef, red wine sauce, cheese, eggplant. As for their a la carte options, let's just say that tasting is believing.
At My Guide, we try to avoid eulogising but after visting Lucas Maes we can safely say that we will be worshipping at this place again!
