Description

Meet in the morning at the car park near the cable car station. After checking your equipment, start the 10 km hike with a 1500-meter positive elevation gain. The ascent takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, with stops to observe native flora, fauna, and volcanic rock formations.

At El Teide’s summit (3,715 meters), you can appreciate views over Tenerife and the nearby islands. Afterward, enjoy a descent by cable car back to the starting point.

Cable car tickets (€22 per person) are not included in the tour price. The cable car operates only in good weather with wind speeds below 35 km/h. If the cable car is closed, descend on foot, extending the total hiking distance to 20 km.
