Description

We will start our approximately 10-kilometer circular hike from the charming village of Erjos. We ascend about 400 m, enter the mystical laurel forest (Laurisilva), and soon climb up into sparse pine forests. On a picturesque ridge, we enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Teide or the picturesque village of Masca until we relax and glide back to the starting point. In small hiking groups of a maximum of 10 hikers, you will learn more about the flora and fauna and why the Teno Mountains are so unique. Equipment recommendations: - Hiking shoes: For a secure grip on the sometimes rocky, slippery ground - At least 2 liters of water: To cope with altitude differences of -/+500 m. - Wind and rain protection: Because the mountains are often shrouded in fog and sudden showers are possible - Warm clothes - Hiking poles: Can be borrowed from the guide (as needed). Please remember to bring weatherproof clothing, especially warm clothing and rain protection, as the climate in the Teno Mountains can often be cool and humid. In addition, we recommend bringing enough water to be well supplied during the hike. The tour generally takes place as planned – except in cases of force majeure, official closures by the island government, or cancellation by the guide. The guide also reserves the right to flexibly adapt the route or the itinerary of the hike to the weather conditions and the physical condition of the participants in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all. Please note: In the event of a no-show without a valid reason, a refund is only possible in exceptional cases. By completing the booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to the above conditions.
