So, what exactly is an e-visa? An e-visa is an official document which will allow you to travel to a country whereby a visa is required. The e-visa is an electronic alternative to the regular visa and is issued by the government of the country concerned. At E-Visa, an e-visa is applied for completely digitally, so you don’t have to go to the embassy, saving you time and money. Additionally, common mistakes will be corrected by the team before your application is submitted, a service not generally offered.
Brits working Abroad!
Since Brexit, UK citizens haven’t needed a visa to travel to any EU member states for holiday purposes. However, working in the EU has changed. If you are a British citizen now wishing to work in Europe, you will need to apply for a Work Visa, and likely have a job secured. For non-EU member states, a visa is often required for tourism as well work purposes.
As each chosen country differs slightly in their requirements to work or travel, E-Visa has developed a quick, efficient drop-down menu whereby you simply enter your destination, the purpose for your visit, and your nationality. You will then fill out the required fields to apply for an e-visa in that country.
No matter which country you wish to travel, or for what purpose, E-Visa has a dedicated page including the cost of that country’s e-visa, plus a main information drop-down list, and frequently asked questions with detailed, yet easy to understand, answers.
It really couldn’t be simpler!

Working in New Zealand
If you’re interested in a working holiday, a Working Holiday Visa is required. These visas allow you to stay for up to 12 months or 23 months if you are a UK citizen. Available for 18–30-year-olds, you’ll have to meet the visa requirements and have a return ticket (or proof of enough money to pay for one,) and declare that your visit is primarily for a holiday.
If you’re travelling to New Zealand to work for longer than the Working Holiday Visa allows, or to settle permanently, you need a Work or Resident visa. To qualify for one of these, you’ll likely need proof of a job.
