Gluten Free Vegetarian & Vegan Mexican Welcome to My Mexican Lounge, a little slice of Mexico with views you won’t find anywhere but in Puerto Colón, Costa Adeje. Owners Danny and Lucie bring a warm welcome and a story that begins under the often-grey skies of the Netherlands. After years of running a wildly popular Mexican food truck in the damp Dutch drizzle, they decided enough was enough. They packed up their passion for Mexican food and set their sights on a sunnier, tastier life in Tenerife.

Settling in Costa Adeje was an easy choice, especially after discovering the terrace that now belongs to My Mexican Lounge. Overlooking the marina and offering some of the best sunset views around, this spot couldn’t have been more perfect for Danny and Lucie to turn their beloved food truck concept into a full-blown restaurant. They’ve kept the authentic, street-style recipes that made them famous but added a new level of charm, with a setting where every meal feels like a mini Mexican escape.

The menu is a celebration of Mexican favourites, but these aren’t your average tacos and burritos. Expect the kind of bold flavours you’d find on the bustling streets of Mexico City. The tacos are filled to perfection, the burritos are packed with a punch, and the quesadillas come with enough gooey cheese to keep you coming back for more. Every dish is topped with their homemade sauces, which range from mild to that lovely, fiery kick that makes Mexican cuisine unforgettable.

For those who love a good cocktail, My Mexican Lounge doesn’t disappoint. Try a Tequila Sunrise or one of their famous frozen margaritas (don’t miss the strawberry version). Feeling adventurous? Go for a spicy margarita, or a traditional michelada—a refreshing twist on beer that’s guaranteed to tickle your taste buds. Didn’t know what to expect first time eating, here but definitely be back before end of our holiday we’re staying in San blas, but the trip to this place was memorable and the team of three are amazing.  I can’t praise this place enough, one of the gems you just come across. We had a great meal & really great margaritas!! Very accommodating of children too. Food was lovely & fresh. Will definitely return!
