Well, after attending the Gala for the Crowning of the Los Cristianos Infant Carnival Queen, you might want to change it to cute things instead.

7pm, Wednesday 18th March, is when the gala takes places and someone’s little bundle of joy will make their Mum and Dad proud and go home with the crown.

The event is one of a series of daily celebrations making up the Carnival Programme starting on March 12th and continuing until March 23rd when it culminates with the Burial of the Sardine - the ritual carried out to forgive the indulgences of Carnival by burning and burying a giant paper maché sardine.
