A fascinating glimpse into Tenerife village life as it use to be
Head to the beautiful village of Chirche on Sunday July 8th to witness life in the hills as it was many years ago. The whole village takes part in offering exhibitions and demonstrations of needlework, coffee bean roasting, goat milking and bread baking, as well as many other rural traditions.
If you fancy a drink, or just don't like navigating the mountain roads, there's free transport to and from Chirche courtesy of a minibus from outside the Guardia Civil station in Guia de Isora, leaving every 30 mins from 10am to 4pm.
