In Spain, the Constitution Day is a bank holiday. It is celebrated on December 6. The referendum in 1978 in which the Spanish people approved by a large majority, the current Constitution is commemorated, being published in the Official Gazette on 29 December of the same year, entering into force on the day of its publication.
