About South Tenerife Language Centre

South Tenerife Language Centre has been open since April 2019 and has grown steadily over the past six years. It operates as a British Ludoteca for children aged 2 to 6 years, open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:30, and also serves as a language centre for children aged 6 and above, offering Cambridge English preparation lessons in the afternoons from 14:00 onwards.
Both group and private lessons are available.

We also run exciting Holiday Camps during school breaks, offering fun, structured days filled with games, creative activities, and English immersion for children of various ages.

South Tenerife Language Centre provides a professional, modern, and stimulating learning environment designed to help children and young people reach their full potential. Places are available for both temporary and permanent students from around the world—regardless of their level of English.

Flexible options are offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Each child receives a personalised learning plan, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and attention to give them the best possible start in life.

Progress is carefully monitored through regular learning reviews and age-appropriate verbal and written assessments, ensuring that each student is achieving their language goals and making steady progress.

We also welcome children who attend other schools full-time but wish to enhance and improve their English, as well as native English-speaking children who want to continue their studies while living abroad.

At the Ludoteca, our main principle is for younger children to learn English through play and joyful exploration. Activities include:

What first of all drew my attention at STLEC was how nice and modern the centre is, everything is new there, with bright and spacious classrooms. The teachers are all really friendly and approachable.
