Restaurante La Casa Vieja

Situated in one of the oldest houses in one of the earliest settlements in Tenerife, there is a real sense of history and tradition when dining here.

The restaurant is large and 'rambling' rather like the menu(!) and has an outside terrace shaded with a bamboo rafia roof. The extensive choice has that country kitchen feeling about it, little wonder as the vegetable ingredients originate from their own garden. In days gone by the rich fish or vegetable chowder in the starter section would have been an evening meal in itself but it does set the tone for what will follow; tasty and hearty.

In it's time this has been old coaching inn... good to see the food and hospitality today is in keeping with the traditions back then.
