Tenerife

You're not falling apart. You're functioning. Probably better than most people around you realise. But you're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. Not dramatic. Not a breakdown. Just this low hum underneath everything. A body that never fully settles. A mind that doesn't switch off when it should. A version of yourself you remember, that feels further away than it used to. And you keep going. Because that's what you do. Because there are people who need you, things that depend on you, and honestly, stopping doesn't feel like an option. So you manage. You push through. You tell yourself it's just a busy season, just stress, just getting older. And then the season ends. And instead of relief, something strange happens. The quiet arrives and it doesn't feel like rest. It feels unsettling. The structure that was holding you together falls away and suddenly there's space, and in that space, things start to surface. Feelings you didn't have time for. A flatness you can't explain. A question you've been too busy to ask yourself. Is this it? Is this just how I feel now? The tension that lives in your shoulders. The sleep that restores your body but not really your soul. The moments where you snap at someone you love and don't quite recognise yourself. The sense that you're going through the motions of a life that should feel fuller than this. This isn't weakness. This isn't something wrong with you. This is what it looks like when a nervous system has been holding on for a very long time, and finally has enough quiet to let you know. And it's asking you to listen. When you're ready to stop just getting through it, I'm here.
