Description

Travel to the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide, the oldest national park in the Canary Islands. It is the most visited in Europe and tenth in the world. It is considered one of the 12 Treasures of Spain. Drive through the village of Vilaflor, one the highest in Spain, located 1,414 meters above sea level. It is the least-populated municipality on the island, with no coastline. The first Canarian, Saint Hermano Pedro, was born here.  Then visit the spectacular Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz, one of the most popular attractions in Tenerife. The theme park combines tropical and sub-tropical gardens with a zoo encompassing 135,000 square feet. Here you will find numerous species of flora, including orchids, cactus and dragon trees, as well as chimpanzees, dolphins, flamingos, sea lions, orcas, penguins and tigers. The park offers dolphin, parrot and whale performances , as well as restaurants and picnic areas.  Open since 1972, the theme park has had over 40 million visitors to date. The Loro Parque Foundation has been promoting the protection, conservation and recovery of endangered species since its inception in 1994. It has also participated in European breeding programs for endangered species like the cariamarillo or hyacinth macaw parrot. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
