Description
A route to discover the charming town of Garachico, which was buried by an eruption on the island of Tenerife.
Walk through its cobblestone streets, see the most historic houses, the church, and the gate of the old pier, which was the main entrance for ships to the island and is therefore very important in the history of Tenerife.
The route will show us the town's artistic buildings, plazas, natural pools, and the history it hides.
Garachico is one of the most charming towns in the north of the island, where you can always stop and enjoy the sea breeze, eat typical island food, and stroll through its pretty streets. This town is undoubtedly a must-see on the island of Tenerife.
