Description

Embark on a unique experience that blends volcanic history, high mountain landscapes, and the magic of the Canary forests. Our circular route begins in the charming village of Santiago del Teide, the starting point for a journey that will lead you to some of the island’s most breathtaking corners. The trail first takes us through black lava flows created by the 1909 eruption of the Chinyero volcano. Walking among these timeless traces of fire, you will feel the raw power of nature. Gradually, the landscape softens, giving way to paths that wind through vineyard fields, where vines thrive in the island’s unique volcanic soil. From here, we begin our ascent towards the Cumbres de Bolico, crossing a fresh pine forest that offers spectacular views of the Bilma, Pico Viejo, Teide, and Chinyero volcanoes.
