Description

We start our 10 km round hike from the charming village of Erjos. We climb about 400 m, dive into the mystical laurel forest (Laurisilva) and soon ascend into light pine forests. On a picturesque ridge, we enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Teide or the picturesque village of Masca, until we glide back to the starting point in a relaxed manner. In small hiking groups of max. 10 hikers, you'll learn more about the flora and fauna and why the Teno Mountains are so unique. Equipment tips: - Hiking boots: For a secure grip on the sometimes rocky, slippery ground - At least 2 liters of water: To handle altitude differences of -/+500m. - Wind and rain protection: since the mountains are often in the fog and sudden showers are possible - Warm clothes - Hiking poles: You can borrow them from the guide if you need them. Don't forget to bring weatherproof clothes, especially warm clothes and rain protection, as the climate in the Teno Mountains can often be cool and humid. We also recommend bringing enough water to stay hydrated during the hike. The tour usually goes as planned, except in cases of force majeure, official closures by the island government, or if the guide cancels. The guide also reserves the right to flexibly adapt the route or the course of the hike to the weather conditions and the physical condition of the participants, to ensure the safety and well-being of all. Heads up: If you don't show up without a good reason, a refund is only possible in exceptional cases. By completing the booking, you're confirming that you've read and agree to the above conditions.
