Description
Discover Tenerifes rural, authentic, and original hiking areas on a guided tour through the harsh Teno Mountains. Hike through gentle, lonely hills where wildflowers sprout and small herds of goats cross your path. Accompanied by spectacular panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean far beneath your feet you will be able to catch a glimpse of the islands´ northwesternmost lighthouse. Far behind us and omnipresent Volcano Teide is watching over us. This easy to medium level trail promises a unique and memorable immersion into Canarian rural culture.
No roads, no electricity, no cell phones: just a few years ago, people lived in isolation on the Teno plateau. On your way you learn about ancient times, when this area was reachable only by foot and people had to learn to by themselfes.
