Description
The summit of Teide offers expansive views of Tenerife and nearby islands. Your ascent begins once the official summit permit is obtained. After reaching the summit, you can choose to descend by cable car for an additional 24€ per person or hike down the 10-kilometer Montana Blanca trail, which involves a 1,400-meter descent.
The cable car provides an easier return option. The hike down is recommended only for experienced hikers due to the distance and elevation change. Meeting time varies depending on the permit schedule and cable car departure.
