Description

Embark on an exhilarating adventure as you ascend the sleeping giant, Mount Teide, under the veil of night. With headlamps illuminating the path, you'll traverse the otherworldly landscapes of Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. As you climb higher, the twinkling stars above become your companions, guiding you towards the summit. The silence of the night amplifies the crunch of volcanic gravel beneath your boots, creating a symphony of nature's rhythm. Reaching the Summit (3718m) - the highest point of Spain, is a real challenge - starting at about 1am by night (depends on sunrise time), this 6-6.5hs hike will test your limits. Distance - 10km long, elevation gain - 1380m. As dawn approaches, the first rays of sunlight paint the horizon with hues of gold and crimson, casting the longest shadow in the world across the volcanic terrain and endless Atlantic Ocean. It's difficult to say what is more impressive - the sunrise from the Summit or the magnificent Teide's Shadow! You have to define it by yourself!
