Description
Start with a pickup in the south of Tenerife, then drive through local villages en route to Mount Teide. Pause for coffee before visiting Vilaflor, a mountain village surrounded by pine forests that sustain the region’s water supply.
Continue through the pine forest to a plateau featuring a lunar-like volcanic landscape. Ascend above the clouds to approximately 2,000 meters above sea level, observing unique volcanic rock formations.
The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and designated as one of Spain's 12 Treasures, offering diverse perspectives of this significant natural landmark.
