The tour leaves from the beach in Abades. This marine protected area has a sheltered bay with calm waters that are suitable for all swimmers. With beautiful rocky reef formations and hidden coves that provide a habitat for a variety of colorful fish, from curious octopuses and camouflaged seahorses. The tranquil sea grass surrounding the reefs give you a chance to spot green sea turtles in their natural habitat. Snorkeling in this marine protected area promises you an impressive journey into the heart of nature's beauty. However its still well worth visiting this marine protected area as there are many other species of marine life to see and appreciate. As a nice souvenir, photos and videos are taken by an underwater photographer during the excursion, which we will send digital to you for free. • The excursion might be subject to change or be canceled due to poor weather, strong wind or adverse sea conditions. The activity provider will contact you by WhatsApp or e-mail a day prior to ask for your measurements. It is advisable to arrive wearing your swimsuit. Minors must be under the adult supervision during the tour. The tour start from the beach. The water temperature is between 19° and 23° (March-September) There's a reasonable chance of spotting green sea turtles, but can't be guaranteed, as they are swimming in there natural habitat. We don't aloud the use of a full face mask. The average depth during this snorkeling tour is 2,5 meters, max 8 meters There's a public shower on the beach.
