Description
Discover the best of Tenerife's gastronomic and cultural heritage on this all-encompassing food tour. After meeting your guide, drive through the Corona Forestal Nature Park between native ancient canary pine trees to reach the highlands, where you can admire the unique panoramic views of what is referred to by locals as a 'sea of clouds' before continuing to Mount Teide National Park. Here, witness volcanic cones, craters, lava flows and magical rock formations at every step you take.
Aftewards, begin your descent through the Valley of La Orotava, where you will discover the best-kept secrets of centuries of rich agricultural tradition, through the production of grapes, cereals, potatoes, chestnuts, and tropical fruits, shaping a landscape of lush green areas and stone terraces.
Finally, sit down to a delicious lunch at a traditional family-owned restaurant where you will enjoy a tasting menu designed with fresh, local products, and cooked using traditional recipes passed down through generations. After your meal, get dropped off back at your accommodation.
