Your Masca Adventure: A Self-Guided Journey to the Heart of Tenerife Discover the magic of the Masca Ravine with an experience designed to give you total freedom. We've taken care of the logistics—access permits and the boat return—so you can just focus on enjoying one of the most impressive landscapes in Europe. **Important:** The starting point is Bus Stop No. 4692 (next to Plaza de Santiago del Teide) You'll need to take line 355 from that stop to Masca. *This line is mandatory for access to the path. Those with a valid Camino reservation will have their spot guaranteed and must present the Titsa ticket for that transfer at the access control. You can pay for your transfer directly when you get on the bus. Approximate price: €1.50. It'll take about 20 minutes. Recommended parking area: Cemetery of Santiago del Teide (a 10-minute walk from the meeting point). Your day begins in Santiago del Teide, where you'll take a bus that will take you along a winding road to the picturesque hamlet of Masca. Before you start walking, you'll pass through an access control where your entry and equipment will be checked (don't forget your mountain shoes!). Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive instructions to install our audio guide app and download the route to your phone. This is a crucial step, as there's no mobile coverage inside the ravine. Along the 5-kilometer descent, you'll learn about volcanic geology, endemic flora, and the legends of the ancient Guanches who inhabited this place. The path will take you through a spectacular gorge until you reach the final reward: the hidden cove of Masca, a wild beach at the foot of the imposing Cliffs of the Giants. To top off a perfect day, a boat will pick you up at the cove and take you to the Port of Los Gigantes. During the crossing, you'll enjoy a unique perspective of the cliffs, whose vertical walls rise hundreds of meters above the ocean. The tour ends at Puerto de Los Gigantes. The return transfer to Santiago del Teide isn't included, but you can easily grab a taxi or hop on public transport (bus lines 325 and 462).

ARRIVAL TIME: You must be at the meeting point at least 1 hour before the descent time you have booked to take the bus to Masca. AUDIO GUIDE: Includes an app with an interpretive audio guide. Important: You must download the route on your mobile before arriving in Masca (there is no coverage in the ravine). You'll get the instructions and access code after you complete your booking. STRICT ACCESS CONTROL: Before starting the route, the park staff will check your ID/passport and your footwear. If you don't meet the requirements, you'll be denied access with no refund. NOT SUITABLE FOR: Pregnant women or people with reduced mobility. Going down into the ravine is NOT ALLOWED for kids under 8. FINAL TRANSPORTATION: Remember that the tour ends at the Port of Los Gigantes. You'll need to arrange your own return to Santiago del Teide (taxi or public transport available).
