Description
The tour begins in the town and port of Garachico, where you will be picked up for the transfer to Chinyero Nature Reserve. The hike follows lava flows from Tenerife’s latest eruptions, passing between the Arenas Negras volcano (erupted in 1706) and Chinyero volcano (erupted in 1909).
You will be accompanied by a guide throughout, who will provide detailed information on the area’s geology, flora, fauna, and history. The route includes views of Mount Teide and involves moderate hiking over volcanic terrain.
After the hike, there is a return transfer to Garachico.
