Description
The hike begins in a fragrant pine forest leading to panoramic viewpoints of Teide National Park, featuring dozens of volcanoes including the last erupted volcano, Chinyero, with visible lava flows. On one side you will see the ancient cliffs of Masca Gorge.
After a scenic picnic at a historical site, the route continues into an ancient laurel forest where mosses and ferns cover the ground, creating a misty atmosphere similar to Anaga but closer to the south coast. This lush environment is often enveloped in mist and clouds, enhancing the natural experience.
Hotel and apartment pickups are available along the southern coast from Los Cristianos to Los Gigantes, including key resorts like Costa Adeje, Las Americas, and Playa San Juan. Guests outside this area can meet at Santiago del Teide near the church.
After the tour, you will receive a link to download 20–40 photos taken during the hike.

- Pickup: Free transfers cover the southern coast between Los Gigantes and Los Cristianos, including resorts such as Alcalá, Playa San Juan, Costa Adeje, and Las Américas. Guests staying outside this area may meet at Santiago del Teide or nearby towns.
- Hike Details: The trail is approximately 8 kilometers with a 300-meter elevation gain. A moderate fitness level is required.
- Language: English tours run only on Saturdays.
- Picnic: A light picnic is included to keep you energized. Guests with dietary restrictions may bring their own snacks.
