Description
Want to conquer Spain's highest peak safely, legally, and with expert guides? Natura Xtreme Tenerife offers you a unique experience: the ascent to Pico del Teide (3,715.98 m) with all the necessary permits and guided by local professionals with extensive mountain experience.
️ Excursion Itinerary
Start at the Teide Cable Car (not included): We kick off the adventure by taking the cable car to the upper station, located at 3,555 meters above sea level.
Hike to the peak: From La Rambleta, you'll embark on a roughly 1-hour hike along the Telesforo Bravo trail no. 10, which takes you to the summit of Mount Teide. This section requires a special permit from the National Park, which we'll manage for you.
Enjoy the Panoramic Views: Once at the summit, you'll get to admire unparalleled views of Tenerife and, on clear days, other islands in the archipelago.
Descent: You'll walk back to the upper station at 3,550 meters for a comfortable cable car ride down.
Important
The cable car ticket isn't included in this booking and must be purchased directly before the tour.
(We'll send you all the instructions and a direct link to manage it easily after confirming the activity.)
This activity depends on the weather and if permits are available.
Includes
Your certified mountain guide
Accident insurance with rescue
Official permits to access Teide Peak and all the paperwork
Photo report
First aid kit
Route with landscape interpretation
Important Information
- To manage the access permits for Pico del Teide, we need you to send us the following details for each participant as soon as possible:
First and last name
Age
Passport or ID number
Without this info, we can't apply for the official permits, so please send it to us as soon as possible.
Also, just a heads-up: you'll need to bring the following gear for the activity:
Personal ID
Hiking boots
Long pants
A sweater or warm jacket
Sun protection
1.5 liters of water per person
If you don't have hiking boots, we can rent them to you.
Thanks so much for your cooperation and trust.
Just a heads-up: if the weather's bad, the cable car might be closed, and you won't be able to climb the peak. This wouldn't be our responsibility, but we'll offer an alternative route.
