Description
Explore Barranco de Masca starting from the traditional village of Masca. The 5-kilometer descent crosses volcanic terrain and natural contrasts until you reach a remote cove beneath 1,480-foot cliffs, rarely visited by tourists.
The journey continues with a cruise from the cove to Los Gigantes Cruise Port, offering coastal views from the sea. Combining trekking and sailing, this activity provides a varied experience distinct from other Tenerife routes.
Included are pick-up from Santiago del Teide, transport to the trailhead, a certified local guide, ravine admission, and the boat cruise. The entire experience lasts 5–6 hours and includes necessary safety gear.
This medium-difficulty route is recommended for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and adventurous visitors. Suitable hiking shoes are mandatory; admission will be refused without proper footwear.
Meeting point: Santiago del Teide, coach stop next to Plaza del Santiago del Teide. Arrive early. Recommended parking is at Santiago del Teide Cemetery, a 9-minute walk away.

- If closure happens on the activity day, an alternate trekking route will be offered; unused services (ravine admission, ground transport, boat ticket) will be refunded.
