Description

Circular hike through the mystical Anaga Mountains Duration: about 2.5–3 hours Difficulty: Easy to medium – perfect for anyone with a good basic fitness level Your experiences on the tour: Discover what makes the Anaga Mountains so unique in the world – a mountain range that's 7–9 million years old and has formed great landscape forms. Immerse yourself in the laurel forest (Laurisilva), where moss-covered trees, ferns, and mist create an almost fairy-tale atmosphere. Experience breathtaking views of deep valleys and steep gorges. Along the way, you'll learn a lot about Tenerife's volcanic origins, the culture and history of the indigenous people, the Guanches. Where to meet: We'll start at a key crossroads in Anaga – the starting point of our round trip through the evergreen fairytale forest at about 1,000 m altitude. Gear recommendations - Hiking boots – ensure a secure grip on stony, slippery paths - At least 1 liter of water – for the demanding, mountainous route - Wind & rain protection – the mountains are often shrouded in fog or rain due to trade winds - Warm clothing – It can be significantly cooler in the starting area at about 1,000 m - Hiking poles – optional but helpful – can be borrowed from the guide This tour offers you an intense natural and cultural experience: ancient forests, mystical legends, spectacular views – and last but not least: the feeling of immersing yourself in a living piece of Earth's history. I'm looking forward to exploring this fascinating landscape with you! Please remember to bring weatherproof clothing, especially warm clothes and rain protection, as the climate in the Anaga Mountains can often be cool and humid. We also recommend bringing enough water to stay well-hydrated during the hike. The tour will generally take place as planned – except in cases of force majeure, official closures by the island government, or cancellation by the guide. The guide also reserves the right to flexibly adapt the route or the course of the hike to the weather conditions and the physical condition of the participants in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all. Please note: If you don't show up without a valid reason, a refund is only possible in exceptional cases. By completing the booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to the above conditions.
