Description

Join us for a full-day hiking adventure in the Anaga Mountains — one of the most breathtaking and ancient regions of Tenerife, recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This is more than just a walk — it's a true Canarias experience, blending dramatic landscapes, deep nature immersion, and authentic cultural glimpses. We pick you up from your accommodation in the southern or eastern coastal areas and begin our journey to the lush north. Once we enter Anaga Rural Park, we’ll take one or two short scenic walks to enjoy the views and truly feel the presence of the Enchanted Forest, spilling down the slopes like a living green carpet. Depending on the cloud cover, you may see panoramic landscapes with Mount Teide in the distance or find yourself surrounded by the mysterious clouds that often blanket the laurel forest. Either way, it’s the perfect way to feel the magic of this ancient region before the hike begins. After these short walks, we continue our journey through the forest toward the starting point of the hike, enjoying the views along the way. On the road, we pass a small cliffside cave village still inhabited today. From the trail, it's hard to believe that these homes — partly carved into volcanic rock — are still in everyday use. It’s a striking reminder of how people here have lived for centuries in harmony with the landscape. Our hike then begins — the trail reveals sweeping views, ascents and descents over forested hills and volcanic ridges, and a constant shift in scenery. You’ll pass through narrow paths winding across rocky ridgelines, open forested slopes, and deep green valleys before reaching a historic water channel, now mostly dry — except after rare heavy rains. This section is especially memorable, with stunning panoramic views stretching across hidden valleys and volcanic cliffs. During the tour, your guide will share captivating stories about the region’s past and present, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We’ll enjoy a relaxed picnic in nature — either on a hilltop or inside a large cave with a dramatic canyon view, depending on the conditions and group preference. Near the end of the trail, you’ll face a short but physically demanding final climb — a true test of endurance that leaves you with a sense of accomplishment and unforgettable views as your reward. At the end of your Adventure, you’ll receive 20–30 digital photos for free taken throughout the day — a vivid memory of your time in Tenerife’s most mysterious mountain range. Optional add-on: Personalized 1–2 min video of your hike for €30 (available by pre-order) — your best moments to relive and share.
