Description

At Finca La Canopea, our ambition is to transform a desert into a rich and diverse subtropical ecosystem filled with edible plants. I will begin the tour by showing you how, using permaculture techniques, we recreate a natural habitat where both humans and nature can thrive. In this pleasant environment, you will learn how vanilla has adapted here and how I aspire to cultivate it on a larger scale. During the blooming season (April to July), you may witness the pollination of the flowers, the harvesting of the pods, and/or their preparation. My modest vanilla production is unique in the Canary Islands. IMPORTANT: To ensure a smooth experience, I have organized visits by language—French, Spanish, or English.
