Description
Teide National Park ranks alongside Chile and Hawaii as one of the best locations on Earth for stargazing. At over 2,000 metres elevation, it offers more than 300 clear nights annually and almost no light pollution.
The tour begins with naked-eye sky orientation, covering constellations, bright planets, the Milky Way, and associated mythology. Guests then use professional telescopes to observe solar system planets such as Saturn and Jupiter, as well as nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters depending on the season.
One telescope is dedicated exclusively to live astrophotography, capturing real-time images of key objects. After the tour, these photos are sent to participants as a free souvenir.
