Description
The experience begins in the evening near Las Vistas Beach in Tenerife, where you will meet your professional dive instructor and prepare for your night dive. Before entering the water, your instructor will provide a detailed safety briefing covering night diving conditions, visibility, underwater communication, and the use of dive torches.
You will then be fitted with your scuba equipment and complete the final equipment checks with your instructor. Once everyone is ready, you will head together to the nearby shore entry point.
As daylight fades and the sun sets over the Atlantic, the coastline becomes calm and quiet, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night dive. Your instructor will guide you into the water and remain close throughout the dive, making sure you are comfortable and fully prepared.
Once underwater, your torch reveals a completely different side of Tenerife's coastline. Night diving brings a new perspective to the underwater world, with marine life becoming active in ways you may not see during the day. You may encounter octopus exploring the seabed, cuttlefish hunting, moray eels emerging from rocky crevices, and other nocturnal marine life moving across the volcanic formations.
Throughout the dive, your instructor will point out interesting marine life and nocturnal activity while keeping a close eye on the group. The dive lasts approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on conditions, air consumption, and the group.
After a slow and controlled ascent, you will exit the water and return to the meeting point. Take a moment to relax and enjoy the experience of seeing Tenerife's underwater world in complete darkness — a completely different perspective from a daytime dive.
