Description

See the most varied side of Tenerife in a single day: towering sea cliffs, a thousand-year-old tree, towns with centuries of Canarian tradition and the patron saint of the whole archipelago.

We pick you up at your accommodation or at the nearest pickup point in the south of the island and travel by air-conditioned coach with a tourist guide throughout the route. Our first stop is the Los Gigantes cliffs, one of the most spectacular volcanic rock walls in the Canary Islands, dropping vertically into the Atlantic Ocean. We continue to the Garachico viewpoint, with views over this historic coastal town, and on to Icod de los Vinos, home of the Millenary Dragon Tree, one of the oldest and most photographed trees in the Canaries.

Next comes La Orotava, one of the most charming towns on the island, where we stop at the famous Casa de los Balcones, an emblematic example of traditional Canarian architecture. We then reach Puerto de la Cruz, where you will have free time to stroll, shop and have lunch on your own (lunch is not included).

We end the day in Candelaria, home of the sanctuary of the Virgin of Candelaria, patron saint of the Canary Islands, before returning to your accommodation.

Approximate duration: 8 hours. The order of the visits may vary. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a light jacket, as the north of the island is usually cooler than the south.
