Although mainly associated with Spain, it is often overlooked that the Italians also offer a fine line in tapas and a very good example can be found here.
In truth you get the best of both worlds as the menu is more of fusion between the two centres of cooking excellence. A tapas lunch on the pavement 'terrace' or an evening meal in the air conditioned interior, perhaps with a risotto and porcini mushroom sauce, are both splendid ways to enjoy Tasca El Tapeo as is the local wine which is very easy to drink(!)
Spain and Italy may be at opposite ends of the Mediterranean but the saying 'hands across the ocean' is very apt here.
