Meson Don Quijote
No need to go tilting at windmills to sample food from La Mancha when you have the Meson Don Quijote in Los Cristianos.
Designed with high wooden ceilings and decorated with 'objet d'art' from the region in central Spain, there is a homely feel to this family run restaurant. Meat dishes are high on the agenda followed a close second by fish. Although they cook a very fine chateaubriand get into the spirit and order one of their stews such as Manchego (chicken) or quail in honey; you'll also find the fish stew very palatable. Of course no meal would be complete here without a bottle of Castilian vino.
As you would expect of 'home cooking' the portions are generous but take your time and leave room for dessert... good advice (honest!)
