Still not got around to fulfilling that New Year’s resolution to learn an instrument?
Well now you can because from the 17th until the 24th of February, The International Music Festival and Academy of Music in Tenerife will run a series of concerts and workshops where all are welcome to not only watch but learn from the best.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the festival will showcase the talents of some of the island's finest musicians as well as guest artists from Russia, South Korea, Germany, Italy France, Spain and the UK.
This, the second of these shows sees Judith Choi Castro and John Paul Elkins teaming up on the violin and piano respectively.
Throughout the festival, there is an option to come not only as an observer but also to participate. If you choose the latter, you'll receive three individual instrumental lessons, a chance to get up on stage and perform as well as access to all the concerts. That resolution will be crossed off the list!
The fee for participants is €160 plus accommodation fee if required.
Observers will have access to listen to all lessons, rehearsals and concerts during the festival. The fee to observe is €40 - payable on arrival - plus the accommodation fee.
